School Protection Officer

Description

This 120-hour course is designed to give campus teachers, safety and security officers the basic skills needed to respond to a life threatening weapon event, normally an active shooter on their property. The tactics discussed and practiced are designed for use against aggressive people from the perspective the situation has escalated to deadly force (the active loss of life is occurring). Assessments, lecture, hands on training, Firing Range by Bolivar, Computer Simulation System with Stimulus Response and a conclusive airsoft training and test program will have your selected team ready.

This course meets the Missouri Legislative requirements to become a certified School Protection Officer. Peacekeepers Training has joined Missouri State University to offer this certification.

12 hours of annual training is required to maintain the SPO certification.
