Firearms Instructor Certification Program

This is a five day (50 hour) Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor training course. Each day of instruction will be at least 10 hours long, but may be extended at the discretion of the Instructor Staff. All participants must be proficient in the operation and firing of semi-automatic handguns and the Remington Model 870 shotgun prior to attending this course. Students must successfully complete all required handgun and shotgun qualification courses and a written exam to receive their Instructor certification. Instructor certification is valid for 5 years.

This course is Missouri POST approved for 50 hours. Cost is $500.00 per person.

3 Day Carbine Operator with Chris Cerino

This Missouri POST-approved training meets the needs of departments issuing AR15 variant guns to officers.

The AR15 is a specialized weapon platform requiring specific training, but mastering it doesn’t have to be difficult. Learn the ins-and-outs of the platform and learn to run it like an operator. On completing this training you will be infinitely more familiar and successful with operation, firing and maintenance of America’s Rifle. Learn skills that you can take to the range or the combat field. Let a professional guide you through what it takes to run the gun like a machine. 

Topics include:

  • Care, feeding, maintenance and safety
  • Foundational skills
  • Zero issues
  • Manipulation skills and techniques
  • Positional shooting (beyond basic)
  • Malfunctions (dealing with the worst)
  • Supported & unsupported positions

Required equipment:

Appropriate range attire, carbine/rifle*, 3 magazines, fighting sling (mandatory), hearing & eye protection, 1000 rounds.. Pistol with 3 magazines and 100 rounds. *acceptable rifles include SCAR or AR15 style

Armed Church Security Team Member (Stage 3)

Firearms Instructor Re-certification

This course is for Peacekeepers Firearms Instructors needing to re-certify for an additional five year period. Cost is $99 for the class (pay at the door). Training will be held at Peacekeepers Firearms Range in Cliquot, MO. Need 200 rounds of ammo.

Armed Church Security Team Member (Stage 2)

This is the second training stage for those wishing to be trained as armed church security team members. Each stage covers new topics related to necessary skills. Topics covered in this stage include:

•Safety rules/briefing
•Review of stage one day
•Warm up rounds 7-10 15 yards
•Movement and shooting
•Stage one malfunction refresher
•Stage two malfunction clearing
•Close Quarter Shooting
•Shooting with a flashlight
•Low light shooting skills test
Supplies needed: 400 rounds, hearing/eye protection, quality holster, 3 magazines, sack lunch, water or Gatorade, sun screen, bug spray.

Basic silhouette shooting- 1 hour-100 rounds Use of Cover – 1 hour – 50 rounds Stage One Malfunction Drills – 1 hour-50 rounds Daylight skills test – 1 hour-50 rounds Low light shooting introduction – 1/2 hours-50 rounds Clean up and debrief

Equipment needed: Gun-400 rounds of ammo, 3 mags or more, holster, water, sack lunch, ear/eye protection hat/cap, tactical flashlight, sunscreen, pen/note pad

Precision Rifle Course

Precision Rifle – $99 – Stage one class is limited to 10 people. You will not find a better value for a precision rifle class.

Class will cover the use of a bolt action precision rifle including zeroing the rifle, sighting, aiming, trigger control, various shooting positions, how to make a range card, target engagement, shooter/observer dialogue, and much more.

The instructor for this course is JP Randleman. Randleman severed 8 years of service in the US Marine Corps Primary Military Occupational Specialty 8541 Scout/Sniper. He served 3 tours overseas Africa, invasion of Iraq, and Fallujah Iraq. Upon completion of service in the US Marines he worked for 5 years for various Federal agencies and clients in Iraq and Afghanistan as a security contractor.

Missouri POST Firearms Training

This course is a Missouri POST approved firearms training class. Participants upon successful completion of the course will receive two hours of POST continuing education credits that will satisfy the annual requirement for firearms training. Cost is $50. Pre-registration is required.
